[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1005245] Re: Keyboard indicator does not respond to layout change
** Project changed: unity = gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1005245 Title: Keyboard indicator does not respond to layout change Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I have two layouts on this computer: Estonian and Russian. There is no English. Here is how I reproduce this reliably: 1. Log in to fresh Unity session 2. Open LibreOffice Writer 3. Type random text in Estonian, which is the default layout 4. Press alt+shift. Further text will be Russian, but the indicator next to the clock still shows Estonian. 5. Alt+shift back to Estonian, the to Russian again. The indicator shows Russian as it should. From now on, it will keep functioning properly. This happens on every startup and occasionally in the middle of a session. Although not functionally threatening, this bug can create confusion for the unexpecting user.
