Title:
Chromium does not pick up the system monitor profile

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Theoretically, chrome (and therefore chromium) is supposed to pic up
the system monitor profile when --enable-monitor-profile is specified
  on the commandline.

But when I compare standard sRGB images in Chromium with the display in
Firefox which is fully CM aware it is clear that the system profile (available
via the X atom _ICC_PROFILE) is ignored.
That makes this browser useless on wide gamut screens

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1019010] Re: Chromium does not pick up the system monitor profile

2013-03-21 Thread Kai-Uwe Behrmann
confirmed for Android and chrome 25.0.1364.172 on Ubuntu-12.10.

The --enable-monitor-profile appears to be a Windows only thing.

Workaround: use FireFox
