You made this bug report in 2012 and there have been several versions of Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then. Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket? Hello Chris, I have tried changing the window size in Thunderbird to make the tab size change, but that doesn't happen. The issue still appears, however. See attached screenshot (with three tabs open). Also worth noting is that I installed Ubuntu 12.10 from a daily build on my laptop (a different machine) a couple days ago, and I cannot reproduce this bug there. I found that this same issue also appears when using Salience, a third- party GTK theme.
