Title:
Unity menu integration stops working 12.10 Beta 1

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in “libreoffice” source package in Quantal:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Trying out Libre Office in Quantal and I notice what appears to be a bug
in the integration with Unity's menu.

  An example:

   1. start up Writer
   2. menu items in Unity menu are generally accessible (for example, Help)
   3. insert a table in the empty document page
   4. menu items in Unity menu are no longer accessible (for example, Help)

I do not have a way to recover normal menu behaviour except to
  restart the application.

We discussed this a bit on ubuntu-qa on 7 September 2012; the
following additional comment was offered (I have not verified it):

I noticed this issue too on Quantal, not only with tables but any
libreoffice menu, like if they can be used only once then almost all
  the items are disabled.

  ProblemType: Bug
  DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10
  Package: libreoffice (not installed)
