[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1056334] Re: sound module crash on startup

2012-09-25 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for your bug report, Ubuntu doesn't use gstreamer1.0 for
quantal, it probably got brought in by something out of the default
installation, could you try to figure what?

** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1056334] Re: sound module crash on startup

2012-09-25 Thread crep4ever
Hi, running
$ locate gstreamer | grep /usr/lib

results in:

287:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-0.10/libgsty4menc.so
288:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-0.10/libgstzbar.so
289:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-0.10/libresindvd.so
290:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-1.0/libgst1394.so
291:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-1.0/libgstaasink.so
292:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-1.0/libgstadder.so
293:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-1.0/libgstadpcmdec.so
294:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-1.0/libgstadpcmenc.so

So I guess that I have 0.10 and 1.0 on my system.

But I've try to apt-get remove libgstreamer1.0 (it seems that cheese is
depending on that) and indeed, it doesn't change anything, the crash
still happens.
