Title:
[ Realtek ALC888, HDA INTEL] Buzzing sound on Speakers and Underruns
  crackling sound on headphone

Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Hi,

Since upgrading to 12.04, I've been having issues with my speakers:
they making a permament hissing noise (sort of like static buzzing)
  and they sound really tinny.

The headphone sound is worst, it'is realy crakling.

I tried to mute / unmute all mixer channels (via alsamixer), but it
  dosen't changed anything.

  Thank you

2012-11-26 Thread Raymond
it is strange that the headphone jack state is unknown

do your shuttle chasssis front audio panel support jack detection ?

  Thank you
