I have attempted to click Install instead of Cancel the Transfer, but that did not solve this problem. I am assuming this is not a gstreamer/library issue since Rhythmbox can play ogg files and Banshee can rip to ogg. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version.
