[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1080108] Re: Amazon name and descriptions need improvement
webb-apps-applications is no longer included in any currently supported release of Ubuntu. I'm closing this bug report with a status of "Invalid" in order to tidy the list of outstanding '100 Papercuts' issues. ** Changed in: hundredpapercuts Status: Confirmed => Invalid ** Changed in: webapps-applications (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to webapps-applications in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1080108 Title: Amazon name and descriptions need improvement Status in One Hundred Papercuts: Invalid Status in webapps-applications package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Amazon is a collection of example scripts for integration of webapps into Unity's Launcher, or at least this is what I understand reading the actual description and looking into the Launchpad page. https://launchpad.net/webapps-applications Looking at the icon, the name, and reading the brief description, an average user could think that this package is an official Amazon webapp, which, as far as I understand, its not. If all of the above is correct, the description, the name, and the icon should state clear that this package is intended for developers or advanced users.
