Okay, I just had this happen to me after shutting down, so it seems to
just be random whether it works or not.

** Summary changed:

- No Full-Disk Encryption unlock screen from reboot
+ No Full-Disk Encryption unlock screen on some boots

** Description changed:

- I use Full-Disk Encryption on 12.10. All seems to work fine if I power
- the machine on from a full power off - the pretty screen asks for my
- disk unlock password and then takes me to the login screen when I enter
- it correctly.
+ I use Full-Disk Encryption on 12.10. All seems to work fine sometimes -
+ the pretty screen asks for my disk unlock password and then takes me to
+ the login screen when I enter it correctly.

- If I reboot the computer instead, it shows a completely blank black
- screen. I can type the password "in the dark" and hit enter and it goes
- to the login screen, but it obviously isn't very good from a useability
- point of view.
+ Other times, it shows a completely blank black screen. I can type the
+ password "in the dark" and hit enter and it goes to the login screen,
+ but it obviously isn't very good from a usability point of view.

Let me know how I can help.
