[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1094561]
Ok, great suggestion. The 'printer settings' window of L.O. cannot change the settings of system-config-printers, so everytime it is launched takes the value from system-config-printers, but in contrast to what it show, it cannot modify these settings. Imho this is a bug, Gedit works right, it change the default settings (system-config-printers) then when it complete it's work, it resert to default (if it is the way, or it simply override the system-config-printer printing directly as it need), i'm not expert. Hope this time I explain better. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1094561 Title: every launch, printer settings resets to default Status in LibreOffice Productivity Suite: New Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Release of Ubuntu: 13.04 Package Version: Installed: 1:3.6.2~rc2-0ubuntu6 Expected Results: the printer settings are remembered Actual Results: the printer settings are restored to default when it is started Hallo TESTCASE: -Start writer or calc ecc. -Type something -From menu File select Print - Properties - Device -Set 'Print Quality' to 'Fast Economy' or whatever different from 'Standard' -Do the same with others settings. -Close all and Calc too and restart it -From File menu do the same as above and you can see all you have set reverted to default Thanks Fabio ProblemType: BugDistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04 Package: libreoffice (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.7.0-7.15-generic 3.7.0 Uname: Linux 3.7.0-7-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.7-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Dec 29 22:58:31 2012 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationDate: Installed on 2012-10-12 (78 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS Precise Pangolin - Release amd64 (20121011)MarkForUpload: TrueSourcePackage: libreoffice UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to raring on 2012-10-13 (77 days ago) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/1094561/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
