I'm having the same issue on raring (amd64). The first time, it connects and shows the correct name of the mobile networkid ("Tata Photon+"), but when I reconnnect it displays random weird names such as "Label Empty", "CDMA" or even "" (nothing at all). On the second/third connection attempt, the nm-applet crashes sincerely!
