[Expired for simple-scan (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60 days.] ** Changed in: simple-scan (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to simple-scan in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1183330 Title: Canon DR-2580C only low resolutions Status in “simple-scan” package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: I have a Canon DR-2580C. If I scan at anything above a –resolution of 240 my attempted scan fails with: scanimage: open of device canon_dr:libusb:001:012 failed: Invalid argument This problem does not exist on 12.04 but does on 12.10 and 13.04. I have run: SANE_DEBUG_CANON_DR=30 scanimage --resolution=300 2580-1.pnm 22580-13.04.log and attached the log file to this bug report. I have also run the same command on 12.04 (which succeeds) and will attach that log file as 2580-12.04.log. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1183330] Re: Canon DR-2580C only low resolutions
this is not a problem with simple scan, but probably with the scanner driver and/or kernel/usb stack below. please contact the sane-devel mailing list http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/sane-devel please report back your progress. thanks! ** Changed in: simple-scan (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to simple-scan in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1183330 Title: Canon DR-2580C only low resolutions Status in “simple-scan” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I have a Canon DR-2580C.
