[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1211797] Re: [xmir] XMir/unity-system-compositor stops brightness hotkeys from working
XMir 1.0 (the old Xorg extension) is now deprecated and is not being maintained or fixed. It is replaced by the new 'Xmir' binary (package 'xmir') introduced in Ubuntu 15.10 wily. Is there any way to reproduce this bug without the old Xmir? ** Changed in: mir Status: Confirmed => Incomplete ** Changed in: ubuntu-power-consumption Status: Confirmed => Incomplete ** Changed in: unity-system-compositor Status: Confirmed => Incomplete ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1211797 Title: [xmir] XMir/unity-system-compositor stops brightness hotkeys from working Status in Mir: Incomplete Status in The Ubuntu Power Consumption Project: Incomplete Status in Unity System Compositor: Incomplete Status in xorg-server package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: the display brightness doesn't change and remains at the maximum after that I have installed the mir/xmir (sudo apt-get install unity-system- compositor).
