#hda-jack-sense-test
Pin 0x0a (Black HP Out): present = Yes (right one, closest to touchpad)
Pin 0x0e (Black Mic): present = No
Pin 0x0f (Black Line Out): present = No (middle jack)

Also attach file with failed speakers.

After some manipulations with sound level and changing default output -
speakers start to work.

PS: There are no any alive instruction to my notebook for this time.

** Attachment added: alsainfo with failed speakers

@Raymond (superquad-vortex2)
No it doesn't change to zero.

I've made some other tests:

For sound device management i've lunched pavucontrol.
Output Devices: Build-in Audio Analog Stereo there is 2 devices. Headphones
and Speakers.

1)If i mute Speakers all works as expected:
a) no speaker sound when unplugged HP jacks
b) if i select PortOut to headphones - sound only works on headphones
2) If i mute headphones:
a) PortOut is selected to Headphones. When headphones are plugged to any jack
-- there is no sound, as expected
b) PortOut is selected unmuted Speakers. When headphones are plugged of -
speakes plays sound. When connects headphones - sound plays from headphones.

I've tried with and without this options (dell-m6-amic) without luck.
Yesterday i've installed latest alsa driver (ppa night build), but without luck
either.

@anna koukouraki (fganko)
Havent found any packages with sound drivers. There was something like that for
wireless and video drivers.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1238144] Re: Dell 1535 no sound from speakers, headphone out is ok

2013-10-13 Thread mealstrom
@Raymond (superquad-vortex2) , ive installed them
#apt-get install oem-audio-hda-daily-lts-raring-dkms  -y -q   reboot

As i mentioned before, i've got left panel like that
http://trinifieds.com/classifieds/wp-content/uploads/classipress/dell-
studio-1535-lap-144872523.jpg (2 headphones out : left and right- HP
further)

I've discovered next things:
1. Sound play from both HP jack
2. when HP are plugged to left one and unplugged first time - sound doesnt go
to speakers
3. when HP are plugged to right one and unplugged first time - sound plays from
speakers
4. After 3'd option sound also plays from speakers in 2'd option.

So there is some bug in jack detection on HP-jack-left and HP-jack-
right.
