[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1244647] Re: LibreOffice not responsive for a while
Thanks. Now I have noticed that it seems that it is a more general graphical problem, I've seen this same behavior in evince. So I will close this bug and investigate further to see if I can reproduce it in my graphical environment. ** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1244647 Title: LibreOffice not responsive for a while Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: After upgrading to Ubuntu 13.10 (and the corresponding version of LibreOffice) I sometimes get irresponsiveness. By irresponsiveness I mean I click in the document and it takes more than 10 seconds for the cursor to move where I clicked. I have noticed this for Write and for Calc. For Write I have to close the document and open it again and it goes back to normal. For Calc if the unresponsiveness in all the window (I click in cells and it takes a while to respond), I have to close the document. Sometimes I also get irresponsiveness when a dialog opens. For instance I just had this while trying to change the name of a worksheet. I attach a video, the cursor that you see moving it's just me clicking in different places of the field, the cursor does not move. Closing and opening the window, sometimes more than once, gets the behavior back to normal. I don't see anything like this in any other application that I use. This is happening to me in a system with Nvidia graphics. In other systems without this brand I havent seen it. Could bug #1243500 be related?
