Unity greeter just scales and trims the image so it fits the monitor resolution. So it is likely to misalign if the original image is not the same aspect ratio as your monitor. The source image is 2560x1600 which is 16:10 and my resolution is 16:9. So it will be cropped. Indeed the stock wallpaper center origami fold, is not in the center.
