 I have the same bug on kUbuntu 14.04 LTS (3.16.0-30-generic  x86_64).
I haven't large CPU usage, but the unnecessarily process of writing data on my 
SSD it not good thing.

  and see that gvfsd-metadata write something on disk while jbd2 load IO

  Earlier I wait for some minutes than use killall gvfsd-metada. And now
  use killall immediately after see that my PC start work slowly and
  check iotop.

Same problem on the same system. But htop shows me that my CPU load on
~7% in the bug time. However, it's really confusing!

Happens from time to time with my both 14.04 installs. But it causes up

/gvfsd-metadata content out of fear of corruption. Will see how it goes.
