[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1310583] Re: System monitor not showing network traffic
I have two installations of 14.04 Desktop. One done as a fresh install, which is now with kernell 3.13.0-32-generic and has no problem to show network activiy. The other was installed as an upgrade from 12.04, it has now the same 3.13.0-32-generic kernell, and shows no activity at all, though I may be transferring lots of data either from local network or the Internet. The only difference I see is how the installation was done: fresh/upgrade. Does this help anybody to finding the problem? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-system-monitor in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1310583 Title: System monitor not showing network traffic Status in “gnome-system-monitor” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: When I run the System Monitor the network history is zero and it keeps on zero... while i'm downloading large files. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1310583] Re: System monitor not showing network traffic
Same here, running Ubuntu 14.04 64bit edition and System Monitor Network History is always zero even if large amounts of network traffic are flowing. This is a fresh upgrade from 12.04.
