[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1333073] Re: PPA Fatal error when opening…loading libexpwraplo.so failed

2014-07-11 Thread Björn Michaelsen
This should be fixed with libreoffice-1:4.3.0~rc2-1ubuntu1~utopic2. Not
ideal to disable mergelibs (for performance reasons), but at least there
should be testable build of rcs now.

** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu)

this is caused by --enable-mergelibs, disabling it for now. Build is on

Hmm, so the lib that is being complained about is at least packaged in
libreoffice-core -- so at least not obviously missing from the install.

sudo rm /usr/share/mime/packages/kde.xml

sudo update-mime-database /usr/share/mime
sudo apt-get remove libreoffice*
sudo apt-get install libreoffice

I solved.

Thanks for tagging with ppa, as I should have per
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette
Note that I cannot collect info using apport: it does not detect the fatal
error, and "apport-bug libreoffice" will not proceed due to it not being an
official Ubuntu package.
Any other info that would help?
