  firefox cannot read profile on installed utopic system i386

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  To reproduce install from desktop cd selecting install at boot menu.
  Then try to open firefox on the command line through an icon or on
  lxpanel it will say Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be
  missing or inaccessible.  be launched it also would not launch when I
  tried to launch apport.

  I expected firefox to launch when I tried to launch it.

It turns out the .mozilla directory has no execute permissions so you
can see the contents inside of it.

Easy workaround

In your home folder as root change the permissions of .mozilla with the
command in a terminal sudo chmod .mozilla 700

in your home folder and enter your password.  To give you read write and
execute permissions on your .mozilla directory.
