Then try to open firefox on the command line through an icon or on lxpanel it will say Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible. be launched it also would not launch when I tried to launch apport. It turns out the .mozilla directory has no execute permissions so you can see the contents inside of it. Easy workaround In your home folder as root change the permissions of .mozilla with the command in a terminal sudo chmod .mozilla 700 in your home folder and enter your password.
