[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1371613] Re: Backup result message nonsense when some folders failed AND a verification test was done
This bug was fixed in the package deja-dup - 38.3-1 --- deja-dup (38.3-1) unstable; urgency=medium * New upstream release: - If some files couldn't be backed up, don't override that message with successful verification message. (lp: #1371613) - Tell user how much free space is needed when backup location is tiny (lp: #1103567) -- Sebastien Bacher Thu, 17 Jan 2019 11:24:31 +0100 ** Changed in: deja-dup (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Committed => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to deja-dup in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1371613 Title: Backup result message nonsense when some folders failed AND a verification test was done Status in Déjà Dup: Fix Released Status in deja-dup package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: There are two bugs here; I'm describing the second, layered on the first: The first is that even though I have explicitly listed ~/.cache in the folders to ignore, I get a complaint that it failed to back up something in .cache. the second bug is that when it does a password/restore verification test (which it does every two months), I end up with a completion message that makes no sense: it tells me that the test succeeded, but then lists a couple of files, suggesting maybe that they were the only ones which were backed up?
