---
deja-dup (38.3-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * New upstream release:

  Backup result message nonsense when some folders failed AND a

Status in deja-dup package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  There are two bugs here; I'm describing the second, layered on the
  first:

  The first is that even though I have explicitly listed ~/.cache in the
  folders to ignore, I get a complaint that it failed to back up
  something in .cache.

  the second bug is that when it does a password/restore verification
  test (which it does every two months), I end up with a completion
  message that makes no sense: it tells me that the test succeeded, but
  then lists a couple of files, suggesting maybe that they were the only
  ones which were backed up? Or the only ones for which the restore test
  was successful?

I'll take this bug as the first part. That's just been fixed in master.

The second part... I think we already have another bug for that.
