Ubuntu 12.04 (precise) reached end-of-life on April 28, 2017.
The folder creation dialog has changed and a default name is no longer
given to newly created folders.

Not sure about the exact package in which the problem occurs. I'm currently
using GNOME 3.4.2.
Description of the bug:
- I copy some text that I want to paste to a new folder's name
- I create the folder (Ctrl + Shift + N), and it prompts me to change the
default name
- When I press the Ctrl key, the default name is applied (even before the V
key is pressed)
