[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1606144] Re: [Precision 5510, Realtek ALC3266, Black Headphone Out, Left] No sound at all
Also affects me. I am using: Operating System: Ubuntu 16.10 Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-34-generic Dell XPS 15 9550 Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If I play with the alsa mixer settings and pavucontrol I can get it to work. I've noticed that putting the computer to sleep sometimes allows it to detect headphones for a bit, but doing things like upgrades resets it. I can't quite figure out what works cause sometimes just restarting it makes it work suddenly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to alsa-driver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1606144 Title: [Precision 5510, Realtek ALC3266, Black Headphone Out, Left] No sound at all Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Sound works on laptop speakers, but there is no sound coming from the headphones jack.
