Title:
  Misunderstood touch events

Status in Canonical System Image:
  New
Status in Libertine:
  Invalid
Status in xorg-server package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Sometimes it seems that subsequent touches in Libertine are
interpreted as a linear mouse movement. I have a hard time describing
this clearly with words, but I'll attach a screenshot showing the
  following reproduction:

  Nexus 7, OTA 14
Install and run xournal in libertine
Tap on the screen and draw little circles on the screen : OK
  Write 1 next to it
Tap on the red color in the toolbar
Tap somewhere and draw little red circles : NOT OK - it draws a straight line
from where you tapped on red to where you've drawn the circles
Write 2 next to it : OK - now it does NOt draw a straight line
  Tap on the file menu
Tap on the screen and circle : NOT OK
  Write 3 : OK
  Tap thick pen
  Circles : NOT OK
  4 : OK
Draw multiple little circles : OK
  Write 5 : OK

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1650037] Re: Misunderstood touch events

2017-02-24 Thread Christopher Townsend
I'm not really sure where the problem here is, but I'm pretty sure it's
not Libertine in and of itself causing the issue.

My first suspicion is maybe Xmir is not doing something right, so I'll
just add that task to this bug for completeness and mark the Libertine
bug Invalid.

** Also affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided
   Status: New

** Tags added: xmir

** Changed in: libertine
   Status: New => Invalid
