[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1810705] Re: gnome-control-center disappeared when dock move to bottom
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1721637 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1721637 ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1721637 can't open system settings(Ubuntu 17.10), icon is visible but settings don't display -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1810705 Title: gnome-control-center disappeared when dock move to bottom Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Package : gnome-control-center Package version : 1:3.28.2-0ubuntu0.18.04.2 Ubuntu release 18.04 Hardware : Processor sandybridge i3 2.2Ghz Memory 3GB Disk capacity 128GB I will move the dock position down. I open the gnome-control-center and select Dock and move the position down. It turns out that the settings window display disappears as minimized. I screenshot but it automatically captured on different workspace. I have reinstalled the package but it remains the same (window setting disappears) I also tried it from the live session mode and the same thing happened. But if I move the dock position to the right, the settings window still looks like it usually does. I've screen captured all of these experiments. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1810705] Re: gnome-control-center disappeared when dock move to bottom
Thank you for your bug report. What screen resolution are you using? Could it be that there is not enough vertical space to fit the settings dialog when the dock is at the bottom? ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1810705 Title: gnome-control-center disappeared when dock move to bottom Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Package : gnome-control-center Package version : 1:3.28.2-0ubuntu0.18.04.2 Ubuntu release 18.04 Hardware : Processor sandybridge i3 2.2Ghz Memory 3GB Disk capacity 128GB I will move the dock position down.
