Title:
Login screen doesn't react to key pressings prior to entering the
  password

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Before the screen when you enter the password, where the clock is
shown, if a key is pressed, it does not retract the screen upwards, as
it used to. Now I have to manually use my mouse to drag the screen up.
Not sure if it is the way it was intended to be used, but I am
submitting a bug report to be sure.

I apologise if this is a bug with GNOME, but please do tell me so I
can send a bug report to them.
