A similar screen blink (about 1-2 secs interval) also happens at screen
wipe/blackout/timeout whatever it's called. Seems a similar issue; a
"smaller", other dpi ("high resolution") screen is glanced in the flickering

Also affects video playback, switching between fullscreen and windowed mode becomes unusably slow.
