Ubuntu 19.10 (eoan) reached end-of-life on July 17, 2020.

  Noticed that recently (past few days? since 3.34.1?) the key
  combinations that I have set to launch web browser or launch terminal
  end up launching two browsers or terminals instead of just one.  Only
  happens ~50% of the time, but still pretty frequently.

When changing desktops with the  command, for example,
this problem manifests itself by sending an extra to whichever window is
in the foreground. If a terminal is in the foreground, the characters
"^[[1;7A" will be written.
