[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1905062] Re: Format device does nothing in nautilus
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1853784 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1853784 Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1905062 Title: Format device does nothing in nautilus Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I have two different external USB hard drives attached. Each of them has just one partition. The devices/partitions are visible in nautilus on the left hand side. I want to format them, so I do a right click on the device/partition in nautilus and select "Format...". In response, NOTHING happens. It's the same thing with both partitions. My expectation would be that a window opens allowing me for different options of formatting, like file system type and encryption options.
