This bug is very severe, an OS that does not allow finding and starting applications isn't very useful, a hotfix or workaround would be very helpful. All distros have severe high DPI bugs in my experience. My screen is 4K and zoom is 300 %, I tried to reduce zoom, but it didn't help. Ubuntu version 22.04. Screenshot is attached. I tried to change resolution and DPI, it didn't help, after that I found the reason: The setting 'Show panel in overview' of the gnome shell extension 'Hide Top Bar'.
