Public bug reported:

Version 108.0 installed the other day.  Just went to download the PDF of
a journal article from one of the journals published by the American
Chemical Society.

“acs.chemrestox.2c00268-2.pdf” is an executable file. Executable files
may contain viruses or other malicious code that could harm your
computer. Use caution when opening this file. Are you sure you want to
launch “acs.chemrestox.2c00268-2.pdf”?

I reported this to the Mozilla Support Team about a month ago.  Upgrade
to V 108.0 did not solve this problem
