Found the culprit. WARNING: There is 1 new warning. See 'snap warnings'. scarlettm@scarlett-virtualbox:~$ snap warnings last-occurrence: today at 06:32 MST warning: | seeding failed with: cannot use snap "krita": default provider "cups" or any alternative provider for content "foo" is missing. This indicates an error in your distribution, please see https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/16341 for more information. So it seems the instructions for using cups printing here: https://snapcraft.io/docs/cups-interface is wrong. It broke everything. I have removed cups from krita and users will have to manually connect. With that snaps are broken for Beta.
