  toolbox.py crashed with TypeError in onUpdate()

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: hplip

  dont know.
  bug appeard when hp toolbox was loaded with an hp printer enabled.
  clicking on the button ... "SCAN ..." in the hp toolbox.
  xsane opened and the bug appeard.
