Title:
Remove preferences for scrollbar placement and/or disabling

Status in GNOME Terminal:
  Fix Released
Status in gnome-terminal package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

Is it just me, or is it complete usability madness to allow moving the
scrollbar to the left side of the window? Also, allowing to disable it
  altogether seems equally non-standard.

What is the rationale for this behaviour?

My suggestion is to put the scrollbar on the right side, and removing
all such preferences. And it should only be visible when needed, as in
most other text fields in most other applications.
