Printer is Samsung ML-2850D Foomatic/Postscript (recommended). A couple of weeks ago it certainly worked well, but now I get /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopdf failed for any PDF file (downloaded or created by me with OOo or LaTeX). Printing directly from OOo works well. Please help, I can do any testing you suggest. I know this is an old one, but I'm getting the same error message (/usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopdf failed) with Ubuntu 13.10, CUPS 1.7rc1, and various TOSHIBA e-Studio printers with the recommended Foomatic/pxlmono and Foomatic/Postscript drivers. Please create a new bug report following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems, especially the sections Reporting bugs, CUPS error_log, and Capturing print job data. Tell in your bug report from which applications you have tried to print and also attach the files you wanted to print. Do not compress your attachments and do not pack them together.
