[Desktop-packages] [Bug 706506] Re: [SVG Font Editor] Crash when kerning an empty pair

2014-12-30 Thread Lisa Sheppard
Hi,

I have been using Inkscape 4.8.2 and the similar bug is happening. I am
using a mac OSX 10.8.5 and xcode 11 XQuartz 2.7.5 (xorg-server 1.14.4).

Steps:
1. Open Inkscape
2. Open the SVG Font Editor (TextSVG Font Editor).
3. Using font already set up (also happens with a new font)
4. Select previous font (or new font)
5. In the Kerning tab, move the Kerning value slider - able to align two fonts
together
6. Once back into Glyphs tab type in letters which have just been paired.
7. Crash.

An error message box appears - however I cannot see any words,
application freezes.

Also once the font has been created - should the kerning / pairing stay
together?
