[Desktop-packages] [Bug 721386] Re: [Upstream] Impress PPT export does not preserve hyperlinks
Does not work for me. Still an issue in LibreOffice 5.0.2.2 hyperlinks are gone when opening from a PPT file or also a PPTX file. Three different types of hyperlink all get stripped (a URL detected and automatically created as a hyperlink. An inserted hyperlink with target set to an external URL, and a hyperlink to another slide) These hyperlinks all remain as expected when saving and reloading from an .odp file (issue with powerpoint import) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/721386 Title: [Upstream] Impress PPT export does not preserve hyperlinks Status in LibreOffice: Invalid Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Binary package hint: libreoffice 1) Natty: lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu Natty (development branch) Release:11.04 Maverick: lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.10 Release: 10.10 Lucid: lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS Release: 10.04 2) Natty: apt-cache policy libreoffice-impress libreoffice-impress: Installed: 1:3.3.1-1ubuntu5 Candidate: 1:3.3.1-1ubuntu5 Version table: *** 1:3.3.1-1ubuntu5 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Maverick: apt-cache policy libreoffice-impress libreoffice-impress: Installed: 1:3.3.1-1ubuntu3~maverick1 Candidate: 1:3.3.1-1ubuntu3~maverick1 Version table: *** 1:3.3.1-1ubuntu3~maverick1 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Lucid: apt-cache policy libreoffice libreoffice: Installed: 1:3.3.0-1lucid1 Candidate: 1:3.3.0-1lucid1 Version table: *** 1:3.3.0-1lucid1 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3) What is expected to happen is when performs via the Terminal: loimpress -nologo Create button -> in Slide 1 click "Click to add text" and type example -> highlight text -> click Insert -> Hyperlink -> in Target combo box type www.launchpad.net -> click Apply button -> click Close button -> File -> Save As -> File name: example -> File type: Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000/XP (.ppt) -> Save button -> Keep Current Format button -> File -> Exit -> open via the Terminal: loimpress -nologo example.ppt The hyperlink is preserved. 4) Notice the hyperlink is gone with only the text remaining.
