Does not work for me. Still an issue in LibreOffice 5.0.2.2

hyperlinks are gone when opening from a PPT file or also a PPTX file.

Three different types of hyperlink all get stripped (a URL detected and
automatically created as a hyperlink. An inserted hyperlink with target
set to an external URL, and a hyperlink to another slide)

These hyperlinks all remain as expected when saving and reloading from
an .odp file (issue with powerpoint import)
