  NetworkManager does not auto connect mobile broadband network

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I use the 3G USB dongle of HuaweiE173Eu-1 to connect to Internet. In
  the Ubuntu 11.04 (Narwhale), the NetworkManager can connect the
  network automatically at startup, but in Ubuntu 11.10 (Ocelot) it does
  not though I tick "Connect automatically".
