[Desktop-packages] [Bug 887440] Re: Firefox hangs in Oneiric
I’ve also been experiencing regular hangs (every few seconds!) since upgrading to Oneiric. I’ve finally found the culprit (for me): sessionstore.js (in your Firefox profile). Deleting that file, together with sessionstore.bak, restored Firefox’s performance (though I had to recreate my tabs and groups). I have no idea why this wasn’t an issue before the upgrade. Perhaps something in Oneiric is causing access to that file to be slower than it was before; perhaps it’s just a coincidence and the file got corrupted around the same time. Does this fix work for anyone else? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/887440 Title: Firefox hangs in Oneiric Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: Opinion Bug description: Every other page firefox will hang for approximately 1 - 2 minutes.
