No, this is expected behavior for network interfaces configured in
/etc/network/interfaces. If you don't need to have them managed outside
NetworkManager, consider commenting out the entries for eth0 and
restarting your system.

Closing as Invalid, since there is no bug here (and the bug of the
alternate installer configuring wireless outside of networkmanager is
fixed in Precise)
