Title:
left click and drag = eratic mouse movement

Status in “xserver-xorg-input-synaptics” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
i have installed 10.04 netbook ed. on my hp mini 210. everything is
updated, as far as the update manger wants anyway. i tried the fix
setting it up as a psmouse which worked sort of but then i could not
scroll. so i reverted those changes.

what is happening is when i left click and drag a second finger across
the pad to move the cursor the mouse is all over the map, making it
unusable. if i left click and simply drag that finger up or right, as
those are my only options :) , that works fine. so it must be
something with ignoring my clicking finger once the button is pressed.
i thought i had it fixed setting the jumpy cursor thresh to about 200
but that seems to no longer be working, which is strange. any ideas?

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 902839] Re: left click and drag = eratic mouse movement

2013-12-27 Thread Ahmed Shams
Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. This Release of Ubuntu has
reached End of Life(EOL).

Many changes have occured to Ubunut since the time this bug was reported and
there's a great oppertunity the problematic feature has changed. I suggest
upgrading to any of the currently supported Ubuntu releases.
