If a similar bug appears in 16.04 (development) please open a new bug report.

  I simply tried to scroll horizontally, with two fingers on the
  touchpad, the miniatures in the image gallery and it crashed. I think
  it's related to the new version of gtk, witch brings some new code
  about touch support
