There is a discussion going on in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=649908 about completely dropping the system tab in favour of the control center details pane, which displays the same information. However, the reordering of items (which makes sense for me) still stands for control center too, as Memory is displayed first there too.
