[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1056341] Re: loopback module is broken
Well, it seems that gstreamer1.0 has nothing to do with that. After running: $ apt-get remove libgstreamer1.0 gstreamer1.0 the problem still remains (I still have libgstreamer0.10). I don't know if this is related to bug #1056334 since when I noticed the loopback module was broken, I tried to open the control center and found a crash. Anyway, the module was working fine till yesterday so it's definitely coming from today's dist-upgrade. Let me know if I can provide more information. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to pulseaudio in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1056341 Title: loopback module is broken Status in “pulseaudio” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Since the upgrade to gstreamer 1.0, the loopback module doesn't work anymore. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 949555] [NEW] Restart/Shutdown anyway fails when a program is still running
Public bug reported: I use emacs in a server/client mode and when I try to shutdown or restart, the dialog a program is still running (see attachment 1) appears and prevents the action. The problem is that the dialog presents an action labeled restart anyway that does not work. It kills the still running process (my emacs server) and closes the dialog but does not shutdown/restart. You have to click on shutdown a second time and then it behaves correctly. Now, this is a bug as the action is not performed as indicated but I think that we shouldn't even see this dialog in the first place. At least, there could be a counter that would trigger automatically the shutdown/restart action after a brief delay. If it can help someone to reproduce the bug, I use this alias in ~/.bashrc : alias emacs='emacsclient -c -a ' ** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-session in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/949555 Title: Restart/Shutdown anyway fails when a program is still running Status in “gnome-session” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I use emacs in a server/client mode and when I try to shutdown or restart, the dialog a program is still running (see attachment 1) appears and prevents the action.
