[allura:tickets] #8204 Create new neighbourhood

2018-08-27 Thread Vrinda
Thanks :) Will try a git update.

I am also trying to install Allura on a Ubuntu subsytem in Windows and have
been following the steps in
https://forge-allura.apache.org/docs/getting_started/install_each_step.html

In the step of installing virtualenv, i get the below exception.

~$ sudo pip install virtualenv
Collecting virtualenv
Exception:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pip/basecommand.py", line 209, in main
status = self.run(options, args)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pip/commands/install.py", line 317, in
run
requirement_set.prepare_files(finder)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pip/req/req_set.py", line 360, in
prepare_files
ignore_dependencies=self.ignore_dependencies))

Complete exception is available in the attached Expn.txt

** [tickets:#8204] Create new neighbourhood**

Hello,

I understand neighbourhoods can be used for grouping similar projects. By
default I can see 3 neighbourhoods created by default : Adobe, Projects and
Users.
Is it possible to create new neighbourhood?

Regards,
Vrinda.

It is not in a released version yet. But it is on the "master" branch of
allura, so if you are using a git checkout of Allura you can update to the
latest and use it.
