I agree with Nick's sentiment. 1.6.0 was feature complete, 1.6.1 is then subtractive but otherwise leans on all the testing conducted previously. We truly want to get 1.7.0 and timedlock mutex API's in users hands a bit later this summer or early fall, so let's get this into trunk and 1.7.x and see what breaks. I'm happy to commit the patch if you aren't yet an APR committer.

Sorry I've missed it so far. I'll try and take a look. There may be a case for another release relatively soon if I don't get my head around it for 1.6.1. -- Nick Kew

Certainly none from me however I have yet to get my Apache 2.4.x builds running with the new 1.6.1 code. I should try that today. Dennis
Target 1.6.1?
It's looking fine since Bill's surgical work last week. I'm minded to T&R apr-1.6.1 tomorrow, and put it up along with apr-util-1.6.0 for vote as Release Candidates. Any objections? -- Nick Kew

New feather for main APR web page
Hello All, I just noticed that the main APR web page still contains the old Apache feather. - http://apr.apache.org/ Would someone be interested in updating this to the new feather as is done in the main Apache httpd page. - http://httpd.apache.org/ Maybe this would be good to include at the time of a 1.6 release announcement.
