Kwangsik Lee created ATLAS-2783:
---

Summary: Could you add more information about Classification and
Glossary?
 Key: ATLAS-2783
 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ATLAS-2783
 Project: Atlas
  Issue Type: Improvement
  Components: atlas-core, atlas-webui
Affects Versions: 1.0.0
Reporter: Kwangsik Lee

Hi, I looked up many of resources about introducing Apache Atlas.

So far, what I've understood is that Classification feature is related to
Apache Rangers in order to control Authorization in Atlas.
On the other hand, I think Glossary is built for "tagging" logical meanings
into entities.
I found Classification can have hierarchy leaf nodes in contrast to  Glossary.

In my company.
I've got to make a guidance how to use Classification and Glossary.
I'm wondering whether I've understood in a right way or not.

Furthermore,
It would be very helpful to document more information about this online or into
UI.

Thanks.

Hi, I'm getting a fan of Apache Atlas in my company and on the way to adapt
this into my company.

I want to sync my hive repo into apache atlas periodically by using
"import-hive.sh", so I want to delete all resouce in Atlas before running the
script.

I'm looking into REST API docs
online([https://atlas.apache.org/1.0.0/api/v2/index.html),] but I couldn't find
it.

So, Could anyone direct me to the way to delete all the resource?

Thanks.
