Re: Resources to contribute
It is no problem. In fact, I am going to work to set for us a "research lab" in terms of resources, online collaboration, publication media, so that you and other R&D minded members of the project can use it. Re: Resources to contribute
Hi Ricardo, It just got accepted to SIGMOD, and it has requested revisions. We'll share as soon as it is published, or share a pre-published version with permission of the conference. Hi Michael, I’m Riccardo Tommasini from the calcite newsletter. Can you share with me the calcite paper you mentioned? I am working on related research and i would like to read it. Hi Edmon, Sorry for the lack of an earlier response. Now that the first paper on Calcite has been accepted, if you're interested in pursuing further publications with us, it seems like these resources could potentially be useful for running benchmarks for future papers. Checking one more time -- is there any interest from a project community in this resources I could contribute for testing and benchmarking of Calcite framework? Resources to contribute
I have a grant of cloud resources that I could contribute to Apache Calcite project if that is of interest. We could use it for benchmarking, testing, etc. of the framework. The resource is approximately Couple of VMs for 12 months with possible extension or increase of resources. Please let me know if there is an interest in this resource? I would be a resource manager, and grant the access to a developer/tester who would want to use it.
