Thank you for letting us to know about this. I have been in Sofia a couple of
times long time ago when I was in Turkey working for UN. Yes, it is beautiful
and I would have gone for this opportunity in heart beat if there was any other
time.
We have been in process of building a multi-cloud infrastructure (CloudStack
and others) here in our small data centre (150-200 servers). Our plan is to
offer mini Public Cloud Solutions and Managed Services for scientists,
academics and high performance computing clients for Vancouver Island 870K
population. If that works out in a year, then we move to a larger data centre
in centre of Canada Manitoba (very clod) with some financial offer/grant from
the government and other enterprise companies.
I hope we can invite you all to come here next year for similar gathering.

know about the outcome.

Ivet over at Storpool is organising the “European Cloud Infrastructure Day”

The Storpool guys have always been good supporters of Cloudstack events in
Europe - so it would be great if we can help them out. I think Cloudstack
should be well represented at this event
Shes looking to find some more speakers from the Apache Cloudstack community (I
believe Sven is already speaking, but she wants some more people to do
technical talks)
Many of the community folks (including me) that speak at these kind of things
in Europe are unavailable that week.
If anybody would be prepared to go an do a CloudStack talk – can you please let
Ivet know
Sofia is a great city to visit and I’m sure anybody going would receive
tremendous hospitality from Ivet and the others
