Re: [VOTE] Release Apache Commons VFS 2.2 from RC2.
Hi, same comments as for the last time: Build works fine with Java 1.7 and 1.8 on Windows 10 (I don't get any test failures). Artifacts and site look good. Some findings: - Both source and binary distribution use the same top-level folder. - The site has two checkstyle reports. One is empty, the other one contains some warnings which are probably not too difficult to fix. No blockers, so +1 Oliver Am 03.10.2017 um 20:30 schrieb Gary Gregory: > We have fixed quite a few bugs and added some significant enhancements > since Apache Commons VFS 2.1 was released, so I would like to release > Apache Commons VFS 2.2. > > Apache Commons VFS 2.2 RC2 is available for review here: > https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/commons/vfs/ (svn revision 22084) > Get it: svn co https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/commons/vfs/ > > * The difference from RC1 is the inclusion of unit test fixes for > non-Windows platforms. > > The tag is here: > > https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/commons/proper/vfs/tags/commons-vfs2-project-2.2-rc2/ > (svn revision 1810617) > N.B. the SVN revision is required because SVN tags are not immutable. > Get it: svn co > https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/commons/proper/vfs/tags/commons-vfs2-project-2.2-rc2/ > > Maven artifacts are here: > > https://repository.apache.org/service/local/repositories/orgapachecommons-1271/content/org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-distribution/2.2/ > > These are the artifacts and their SHA1 hashes: > > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-distribution/2.2/commons-vfs2-distribution-2.2-src.tar.gz > (SHA1: b83f15b695519353dbb0da310f256e8c776ab6c6) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-distribution/2.2/commons-vfs2-distribution-2.2-bin.zip.asc > (SHA1: f8e2274ef4df95b91ccb9ca7ee58dce18a3f6fe4) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-distribution/2.2/commons-vfs2-distribution-2.2.pom > (SHA1: d8053a146c0d7e4b9cf649e8d6a0aff680dc3946) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-distribution/2.2/commons-vfs2-distribution-2.2-src.zip.asc > (SHA1: 057fbf7b942bf6368e70ee9fcfd6dae00ef2840e) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-distribution/2.2/commons-vfs2-distribution-2.2-bin.zip > (SHA1: 2d6071e1cbb0e466031a83679d6d0aaa1d37e66a) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-distribution/2.2/commons-vfs2-distribution-2.2-bin.tar.gz > (SHA1: f967aa889ecb3b333917c9dd4585045ff5cd27e6) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-distribution/2.2/commons-vfs2-distribution-2.2.pom.asc > (SHA1: 43f17f82292d899024788414e188d929f0934495) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-distribution/2.2/commons-vfs2-distribution-2.2-src.tar.gz.asc > (SHA1: 4b0dd55cbbd6085c07675f8aea50db903a283ca0) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-distribution/2.2/commons-vfs2-distribution-2.2-src.zip > (SHA1: 7691a17b0f574004106698fb49bc1540a80d9ead) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-distribution/2.2/commons-vfs2-distribution-2.2-bin.tar.gz.asc > (SHA1: dfd06635746cd215426a28668a389d22ed7dc106) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2/2.2/commons-vfs2-2.2.jar.asc > (SHA1: 5422743248bc2773c1fe1e1e37cc7d5805eb6a0f) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2/2.2/commons-vfs2-2.2-test-sources.jar > (SHA1: 321a0150f53cdac36be59a4795a1b72ba5d29422) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2/2.2/commons-vfs2-2.2-tests.jar.asc > (SHA1: 3212e2e92d013d72d9d98690c997842c8fbc11ac) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2/2.2/commons-vfs2-2.2-javadoc.jar.asc > (SHA1: f7b3781d229074a31268443ce5865fab5b6eabb8) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2/2.2/commons-vfs2-2.2.pom.asc > (SHA1: 0302debd93d09721a06b58de6f217c56a6d72adf) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2/2.2/commons-vfs2-2.2.pom > (SHA1: 8ddc26fc8729a7f3a6a1c642e4069b58d3a5ec04) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2/2.2/commons-vfs2-2.2-test-sources.jar.asc > (SHA1: 6fe14c321f2713cc1ec110ffbde1c223ae022f3c) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2/2.2/commons-vfs2-2.2-sources.jar.asc > (SHA1: e996b4b375ada6e0135c3b7a01555da75b666c5b) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2/2.2/commons-vfs2-2.2.jar > (SHA1: 98a98f365a07256ec33c32a653c14255b12859e0) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2/2.2/commons-vfs2-2.2-sources.jar > (SHA1: 94eddc684b50ce2b8a5e4f3f475ddc2909b96d1a) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2/2.2/commons-vfs2-2.2-javadoc.jar > (SHA1: 39d0a5417a22992da665f77f296344f5a6bed168) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2/2.2/commons-vfs2-2.2-tests.jar > (SHA1: cfa95dded1ef13410d08b9debe31fb1989a94a4f) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-project/2.2/commons-vfs2-project-2.2-site.xml > (SHA1: 45db714de819ec12adc528479bf9a4a2e15ba323) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-project/2.2/commons-vfs2-project-2.2.pom > (SHA1: dece2db6026f36f9dbbad8668cfb1fca867fbb64) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-project/2.2/commons-vfs2-project-2.2.pom.asc > (SHA1: f2cacc97d1a03f7738c58a521a85e99f5ee50c3c) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-project/2.2/commons-vfs2-project-2.2-site.xml.asc > (SHA1: 87947f4de3ec06f208c9b97057c0467c5c61551d) > /org/apache/commons/commons-vfs2-examples/2.2/commons-vfs2-examples-2.2-sources.jar.asc > (SHA1:
org.apache.http.entity.mime.MultipartFormEntity.getContent() 25 K hard coded limit
Hi All, The method org.apache.http.entity.mime.MultipartFormEntity.getContent() contains a 25 K hard coded limit. Is this arbitrary or based on an RFC or web convention? Shouldn't this be configurable. It is making edge cases in my integration tests fail. Gary
